Acceptance of terms and conditions
The contracting of Ellipsis Associates LLC services is acknowledgment and acceptance of the company's terms and conditions as detailed below.
Confidentiality, ownership and copyright of submitted or created materials
We take intellectual copyright, classified material and other forms of confidential documents very seriously. Our editors have signed confidentiality agreements with Ellipsis and their bona fides have been established to our complete satisfaction The client retains sole copyright, ownership and control over all materials submitted to Ellipsis Associates for proofreading and editing, including any materials subsequently created or developed by Ellipsis Associates.
Refusal or denial of service
Ellipsis Associates reserves the right to deny or refuse service to any client or prospective client for any reason and without explanation.
Content of submitted or created materials
Ellipsis Associates does not endorse, recommend, or support the content of any documents provided by, or created for the client. Clients are advised that plagiarism and breach of copyright are serious offences. Ellipsis Associates assumes no responsibility or liability for the infringement of third party copyright in the content of client documents. While recognizing the right to free speech, Ellipsis Associates reserves the right to refuse to proofread/edit or create any document that advocates or incites violence, hatred or discrimination in contravention of national and international laws; furthermore, Ellipsis Associates is not liable or responsible for any damage to computer hardware or software arising from the distribution of a computer virus.
Service quality & standards
All documents are proofread, edited or created to a high and exacting standard; however, Ellipsis Associates provides no guarantee that the client's work will be error free. Furthermore, Ellipsis Associates is not responsible for service delays resulting from unforeseen circumstances such as technical problems, including server issues that are beyond our control.
Service guarantee
Ellipsis Associates provides customers with the best possible quality of service. Should a client be dissatisfied with the proofreading and editing service, or the creation of a document, Ellipsis Associates will refund the client's payment; however, any such refund is conditional on the client demonstrating conclusively how Ellipsis Associates failed to meet its service obligations.
Accuracy of client information
The client must provide true and accurate information with respect to its name, address, e-mail address, phone number and all payment details. Failure to provide correct and accurate information can result in a refusal to provide service. The client assumes all responsibility for any problems, errors, issues, as well as legal liability, resulting from such false or incorrect information. All information submitted by the client is confidential.
Financial fraud or theft
Ellipsis Associates is not liable for the fraudulent use of any credit card or other payment method that may be used to purchase its services.
Indemnification
The client agrees to indemnify and hold Ellipsis Associates, its subsidiaries, affiliates, agents, officers and employees harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable fees and costs for the service of an attorney, or as may be made by any third party due to or arising from use of the site or service, or violation of the terms and conditions by the client, or infringement of any intellectual property or other right of any person or entity by the client.
Termination of service and contractual obligations
In the event of a client violating any or all of the terms and conditions contained in this document, Ellipsis Associates reserves the right to terminate all service and contractual obligations with the client; furthermore, Ellipsis Associates may, at its discretion, discontinue or terminate operation of its Web site, services or trading name without notice at any time and for any reason.
Modification of terms and conditions
The terms and conditions contained herein may be modified, amended, altered, changed, reorganized, rewritten, or revoked at any time, for any reason and without notice.
